Come out and play

Its public of any country that makes any event hosted by the country successful. This time we are organizing CommonWealthGames.
If you want to kill a tree, don’t cut it, just curse it! The same seems to be happening with CWG.
Take a glance on Dr. Kalaam's letter to all indians for CWG:
Why is the media here so negative?

Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?
We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why?

We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.

......
In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.. Why are we so NEGATIVE? Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T.Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours..

YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?
.......
When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?

What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.

Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England . When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Here are some images you would like to see.
These will certainly excite you.We need now to just publicize and show the world we are united.

O yaron ye INDIA bula liya.....yeaaah

you are not alone dear

All alone or not, you gotta walk

ahead. Thing to remember is if

we're all alone, then we're all

together in that too.

Happy B'day paladeeeeeeen

This testimonial, based on our first meeting memories and some interesting facts about him, belong to one of my dear friend.
Here i am starting...
July 19th 2008,yeah it is the date we came to IT-BHU for a new life so called college. My new roommate and his elder brother were taking rest so we thought to move to next room. Actually next to next.We went to 107 and yeah after couple of hours some people came to that room asking about us.After getting much information we were proposed to shift to 107 leaving the allotted one because of the "sirname", as they found on list, of my possible roommate specifically it was "goyal" and my sirname doesn't clarify my caste as it is "mohan" with "gupta" being silent. ;)

After a lil more talk, they could know that we belong to the same caste :) and even our homes are not too distant.

But eventually it was a vrey nice conversation. It was really a nice one to talk someone like this for first time.

On second day parents to parents conversation was going on and at the time of their departure we were told to take care of each other which is actually obvious in a hostel. We do care :P.
From that day we usually do many things together. It's not coz we were told to do so it's coz we found natural.Main thing we do see each other every day :D.

We generally share :P our trains to home:D:D.
He manytimes having a childish nature, he is a nice guy.He is one of the guys i can trust.
He got skills. He is a good cricketer even i should say he is a good player, u can choose any game from the menu of IT-BHU.

He is called PALADEEEEEEEN  :).
Today is his birthday,May GOD bless him with all he wants.

Happy BirthDay dear friend.

Happy BirthDay PRASOON :).

Me and Prasoon @ Domino's

Its time to unite...yeah we will

From last few days i was talking with my friend Alok about Ayodhya verdict. He asked me who wants riot and those killings?who wants all those disasters?Killers just don't see the religion of the victim. Its all the political drama. They wanted some votes from a religion and the other white crows wanted sympathy from the different people by religion. But at the end what happens they just say before going back to their caves with red light headed car SITUATION  IS UNDER CONTROL after many families are just dead and many of the survivor just forget the meaning of life.
What we need to know is that we are HUMAN.We are not creature who are meant to killing but to live together.
In 9th class i read in civics that HUMAN IS A SOCIAL ANIMAL and what i see now an ANIMAL who wants just flash and blood.
Just "think" dear we need not worry if you think in constructive manner.
I am proud of citizens of Mumbai who recovered so fast and helped their neighbours in healing their wounds.
All we need now is to reunite BEFORE THE STORM.
Don't let them control you.Think do you want to fight someone on the basis of  a religion? Was it a mistake of baby who was born in some particular religion. All we think is just to reunite our society and don't let separatists use you as their puppets.
All the very best to all of the Indians to fight against Anti-Indian society. We will surely win.
Here are some good poetic lines by Alok.

p.s.- Alok reached national level of BAALSHREE for his poetic skills.

Hey see it's ME.......

Yesterday while surfing internet i came across some amazing lines "move away sun, give me some sky".I thought to elaborate it and so did i.Just added myself to it and here it is.These lines can come up with a refreshing thought of never giving up.If it succeeds to do so,person that will be happy will surely be me.

Move away Sun,

              Give me some sky.

I have the wings,

               I want to fly.

My glass is half full,

               I'm never gonna cry.

Neither gonna quit,

               Nor saying a bye.

I wish for sky,

                My wishes are high.

I have the power,

                 then who will defy?

Won't return undone,

                  My presence imply.

I'm gonna stand still,

                   Not just pass by.

Stronger than diamond,

                   My hopes never die.

Kis chakki ka aata khata hu?

                   Don't you wanna spy?

Move away sun,

                    Give me some sky.

I have  the wings,

                     I want to fly.

Don't bother what they say....

Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison.
One of the stories, my father tells me time to time.
It could end up you with many conclusions.

A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home,a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey?"Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them.
Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?" Hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.

Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, "How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman." The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, "Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you." Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders. It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.

Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear.
Everybody has its own point of view but don't do something to blame someone else after the failure, do whatever you feel like to, do what you can do with your will.
Take decisions eventually its your life...
If you are not having a bright conscience and you relying on others then please just get rid of blaming someone on some bad accident or wrong execution.
May be that person has a different perception.

Why boys are worth loving?

This post is for all the girls to know the importance of us and for all boys to have a smile.

The way they hug you
    When you cry
The way they keep looking at you
And when you ask why are you looking
they say - "ab dekh bhi nahin sakta kya?"

The way they are jealous
When a boy flirts with you
The way they put their head in you laps or on your shoulders
    When they are sad.
The way they don't let you go back
When you go to meet them.

The way they say I Love You & Miss you and you want the moment to just a pause.
The way they take off your clip &say -"khule baal achche lagte hain"
The way they try to convince you when you are angry.
The way they compliment you-"you are looking pretty"

Sometimes..

Sometimes
     Sorry means:
       Its not my fault,its yours
Accept it,it would make me feel better
  Good Night means:
       Don't keep the phone stupid,
       I want to talk more
  Take Care means:
I'm not well and need to be cared by you.
  Disconnecting a phone means:
       Call me back,
I want you to persuade me with something special

Sometimes smile means more than tears
&
Sometimes tears are more satisfying than smile

There are very few people who understand the exceptions.

AND those people are found only SOMETIMES

The above is kindly dedicated to all those who run SMS-ki-dukaan in our country these days.

Seriously, everything and anything could be yours, bas button dabao. Your favourite singer/actor/doggy could win on TV, bas button dabao. Request a song on Radio, vote in another online poll, get your results, chat with a celebrity or her aunt, shop, bid do anything and everything by an SMS to an expensive four digit number. Wow! Everything is a touch away. And everybody from watchman to a sabziwala to a beggar has a mobile now. And still some people claim India is a backward country? I should be surprised.

Actually I know why they call us backward. Just look at the standard of questions they ask. They are sooo simple and mindless that the obvious aim is only the profit from sms revenue. And I dunno what kind of people actually blow money over SMSing all this.

Like Sunday's poll in TOI read: Do increasing prices of vegetables fruits and cereals affect the household budgest? Yes or No.

Get my point? So what are you waiting for, make your voice heard and SMS me your opinion now.:P:P

Can I borrow Rs.25/-

Like my last post, this post is just to remind again to change your priorities and think what is actually valuable and worth to do.
Its you who define your priorities and make a schedule for yourself, just think what is real and what is virtual. Many times we just remain in a virtual world forgetting our surroundings which should never be avoided.Think for the person who can't bear your ignorance, think for the person who needs some care from you.Just don't ignore them
Here just a story for the same:

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

Son: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?'

Mom: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

Son: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?'

Mom: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily.

Son: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

Mom: 'If you must know, I make
  Rs. 50 an hour.'

Son: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

Son: 'Mummy, may I please borrow Rs.25?'

The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door..

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.25.00 and she really didn't ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' She asked.

'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Mummy, I have Rs.50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The mother was crushed. She put her arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that Rs.50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
